From The East Kingdom Tales:
Prologue of Talon’s Tale
There’s one here in An Dub, that Ducks bespoke
We are happiest today to invoke
Certain he will laugh and be of good cheer,
As to this tale, that you all shall next hear.
Here beginneth Talon’s Tale.
Woe to the cook, unless his sauces were
Pungent and sharp! And ready is his gear!
Their halls set with tables must be ready!
Brimming savory food, safe and steady
When orchestrated by Talen Van Horne
There is no woe! His food’s fine ev’ry morn
He has been set to serve for decades hence
But now it is known, his drive’s still intense
Culann and Honig Eastern Majesties
On this day of Crown Tourney are most pleased
Use processes and procedures to gift
This gentle with Award of Arms as fit
Talen’s love is seen through what he does neat
As is the bee hive full of honey sweet.
Done this Anno Societatis LXI
– African Proverb
